Structural Repairs

1. Surface Preparations

  1. Break Open Loose Concrete
  2. Attach / Weld Additional Reinforcement if Required
  3. Clean Surface with high Pressure Water Jet

2. Rust Treatment

  1. Apply Protégé-RC (Reactive Polymer Rust Converter)
  2. Apply 2 coats Directly with Brush at an interval of 2 hrs

3. Bond Coat

  1. Apply with Brush Protégé - BA / Poly and Cement
    2. Protégé - BA / Poly   1kg

    Cement                 1kg

  2. Polymer Mortar Application to be done immediately

4A. Polymer Treatment

  1. Add water to Protégé - RM (Ready Mix Polymer Modified Mortar)

    2. Protégé - RM   40kg

    Water            5.5 - 6 ltrs

    Mix properly for 5 min. Keep the mix ideal for 3 - 4 min

  2. Apply on the bond coat with Hand (use gloves) or with Trowel
  3. Can be applied twice or thrice, just wet the surface before the next coat
  4. Cure thrice a day for 7 days

OR

  1. Mix Protégé Poly   1kg

    2. Cement             5kg

    Quartz Sand       15kg

  2. Uniform mix to be applied with Hand (use gloves)
  3. Can be applied twice or thrice, just wet the surface before the next coat
  4. Cure thrice a day for seven days

4B. Microconcrete

  1. Add water to Protégé - Procrete (superfluid Microconcrete)

    2. Protégé - Procrete   40kg

    Water                   5.5 - 6 ltrs

    Mix properly with Stirrer for 5 min

  2. Pour the mix into water tight shuttering

    3. Let it dry for 24 hrs

  3. Cure thrice a day for 7 days
